1. About The Modern Mahj Method

The Modern Mahj Method ("we," "us," or "the Platform") is a digital membership that teaches American Mahjong through step-by-step video lessons, printable cheat sheets, strategy deep-dives, and a growing library of downloadable resources.

By creating an account, starting a free trial, or making a purchase, you agree to the terms on this page. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

2. Digital Product

The Modern Mahj Method is a digital product. Membership grants online access to lessons, downloadable PDFs, printables, and other resources hosted on the Platform. No physical goods are shipped, and nothing is mailed to you.

Because the product is entirely digital and delivered instantly upon purchase, access begins the moment your trial converts to a paid membership and the content is available to you in full.

3. Free Trial & Billing

New members receive a 5-day free trial. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your chosen membership (currently $34.99/year, billed annually) is charged automatically at the end of the 5 days.

Once charged, your membership remains active for one full year from the billing date. You keep full access to all content for the entire year, even if you cancel early.

4. Cancellation

You can cancel your membership at any time from your account settings. Because the annual membership is paid upfront, canceling does not end your current year — it simply stops the next renewal from being charged one year from your billing date.

In other words: you may cancel at any time, but cancellation only prevents future yearly renewals. The year you have already paid for remains active until it expires.

5. Refund Policy

Due to the digital and instantly-accessible nature of the product — including downloadable lessons, printable resources, and the full content library — all sales are final.

You may request a refund within 14 days of your annual charge only if you have not accessed or downloaded member content during that window. Requests must be sent to modernmahjapp@gmail.com with your account email.

After 14 days from your billing date, no refunds will be issued under any circumstances, regardless of how much of the content you have used.

The 5-day free trial is provided at no cost; if you cancel during the trial you are never charged and no refund is necessary.

6. Use of Content

Your membership is for your personal, non-commercial use. You may not share, resell, redistribute, or republish the lessons, printables, or any other resources, in whole or in part.

Downloadable materials may be printed for your own personal play and study. They may not be used commercially, sold, or distributed to others.

7. Account Responsibility

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately.

8. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, the revised version takes effect for future memberships and renewals. Continued use of the Platform after changes are posted means you accept the updated terms.
